Prav Community - Coop Members (General Body)

This sub group for official members of The Prav Cooperative (General Body). We also have other communication channels

• All general body meetings / resolutions and board resolutions will be posted here and on the xmpp group.

• Amendments to bye-laws can be proposed / discussed in this group.

• Remote voting happens on the mailing list with Digital Signature authentication.

Membership process

1. Initial interest is expressed using https://prav.app/become-a-member/

2. We contact them when we reach 50 members from a state and collect ID copy (submitted data including contact details are in kobotoolbox) using https://cloud.disroot.org/apps/forms/s/ztbW4tX8BYzBtQFW6KA6qAMD

3. Board reviews membership requests (accept or reject) when they request to join this group or mailing list or submit id copies.

4. Accepted members are invited to this codema group, mailing list and prav-coop xmpp group. Any pending join requests will be accepted.

5. Collect membership fee and payment for shares bought in AOP bank account until cooperative gets its own bank account.

The sub group's members list serves as the official list of members of the The Prav Cooperative (General Body).

Note: Members not from Kerala has to wait till we complete the Multi State Cooperative registration with Central Registrar of Cooperative Societies. This is indicated in the members list with 'Pending Registration'.
