We will pass a law that will act as deterrent for false arrests and in particular people spending ages in jail on flimsy evidence. This will include compensation for people falsely imprisoned and punishment for law enforcement personnel.

There should be a reasonable compensation for the victim. But adding punishment to the enforcement personal will be misused and may make enforcement personal reluctant to make arrests even in valid cases with proper evidence.
