Some of us from Free Software Community are meeting in Thrissur on 24th. So I propose we have a Indian Pirates meetup on 23rd.

Minutes

Meetup was started at 11.30am. Praveen, Srud, Vishnu, Akhil, Ambady, Kiran, Hari and Kannan were present.

The agenda for meetup was to discuss about current issues, to make a statement on them and formulate future plans. The issues under consideration was Kashmir lock down, Ayodhya Verdict and NRC.

Praveen started by giving an introduction about Indian Pirates. About how Indian Pirates came to existence n order to fill the gap created by absence of a Transparent, Democratic organization which value Human Rights.

Later we continued to the topics in agenda.

We discussed about Ayodhya Verdict and came to conclusion that the judgement was unacceptable.

We briefly discussed about Kashmir lock down and the human right violations following it.

We discussed about NRC and came to a conclusion that we should actively participate in #BoycottNRC campaign. The decision was to focus on NRC and study about NRC for a month to start a campaign against NRC. As part of that, we started collecting articles about NRC and translating to Malayalam and to other language with availability of volunteers.

The meetup was concluded at 4pm evening, later we continued working on NRC data collection.
