I just went through the petition and I must day the second point sounds kind of dictating and I'd like some clarification..
"Lets do it in steps,

  1. Don't identify yourself with your caste." --- you don't necessarily mean for people to drop their surnames off their full official name right? Because that would mean getting your entire name changed in all the official documents..

"2. Marry outside your caste." -- I think I get what your trying to say. But it kinda sounds like you are trying to tell people to make it a point to marry outside their caste.

I just the petition though.

  1. Yes, drop it if you truly believe caste does not matter.
  2. Don't look only in your caste/remove caste as a criteria when you marry.

Works for me. My surname is not linked to caste and I married out of race, let alone caste!
