Knowledge should be free

in constitution: article 1
Section 4: Knowledge should be free
but in our professional colleges knowledge is not free., even in unaided schools too... in my view the problem starts from there., The students who studied there also thinks "I spent so much for this knowledge, wh should i give it for free"?.Can we do anything as an alternative to it? I am eager to know.

@suneesh that is why Section 3 is important "Section 3: Every one has a right to food, housing, education, healthcare and privacy". We consider education as a right and should be available to everyone free of cost. Do you want to start working on an education policy for us? Documenting how we want education to be.

@suneesh unfortunately there is no short cuts there, we have to start creating a society where people are respected for what they are, not how much their salary is. The reason why people choose engineering or medicine is because it pays them well. Not because they love it. You can clearly see it when majority of non-IT engineers choose IT or management jobs. Unfortunately education has become just a skill training. Our perspectives have to change.

I think change has already began, it will take lot of time to get rid of century old mind set of copyrighting academic research and publication. but some of the leading universites in world have came up with Massive Open Online Courses(MOOC's) where you can learn many things for free. Of course it is not viable alternative of the education we receive today but in future i am sure the platform of MOOC will develop and help communities to learn whatever they want, however they want,how much they want!!

What is often not spelled is that MOOC's work only for self-motivated people as it's learn at your own pace kinda thing.
I might be wrong but many people, kids and grown-up alike like somebody else calling the shots, they want/need both their peers and a teacher/guide to motivate them.

While MOOC's are great as an additional resource, they can't replace the human element. At least that's my thought.
