I am attending an online camp organized by Yuva Samithi (Youth Wing) of Kerala Sasthra Sahithya Parishad (Kerala Science and Literature Movement) on Gender. The idea is to go deep into a topic as a group with help of experts in a topic. We spend roughly 2 hours a day online in a dedicated chat room discussing about various aspects of the topic. I think this is a good format for us as we are spread across the country and physical meetups are harder to do (at least for now) and is more tedious. Who is interested?

Yuvasammithi camp is in a telegram group bridged to matrix. We will host our camp in matrix. I posted here to see if there is some interest before proceeding. Got some more interest via matrix, so we will go ahead with it.

I propose "caste" as the topic for first camp. We can start the camp in December. But we need to do some background preparations to find people who work on caste issues and record their video/audio.

Would you like to join the organizing team for an online camp on Caste?

Basically, we need to find and talk to people who can help us understand this issue in depth. Possibly meet them, record their message or somehow collect the message.
