Crowd funding campaign planning
We should launch a crowd funding campaign soon as @Raju Devidas is paying the hosting charges from his personal account.
We need to meet soon to decide. March 20 around 2-3 pm IST is a suggestion that came in matrix group.

Set a hard deadline for the crowd funding campaign Closed Sun 26 Sep 2021 3:00PM
@Pirate Vik : I don't think this is really happening and we should accept that their is insufficient support for this service
Me: I think they are making some progress on the crowd funding campaign, let's see how this turns out.
@Pirate Vik : i think it's too slow however and we will run out of money to pay for hosting
Me: May be let's put a final deadline for crowd funding before we officially give up. How about 2 months from now?
This is a from our chat room. I think we can make November 20 as a hard deadline for crowd funding campaign launch. If we fail to launch it by then, let's announce a scheduled shut down date.

We had a meeting regarding this.
Attendees of the meeting: @Pirate Praveen @sahilister @Ravi Dwivedi @Purnesh Berde @Abhinav Krishna C K
To be prepared for legal issues due to new IT rules, we think that we should ask some organization like SFLC India, Internet Freedom Foundation, FSMK, FSMI to back us up in legal matters and take legal responsibility. We will try contacting these organizations and request them for taking legal responsibility. We need support from organizations who are willing to take legal risks.
Pirate Praveen Tue 21 Sep 2021 5:31PM
In addition to the earlier challenge of volunteers (for technical maintenance and fund raising), we need to look at the legal challenges also now. So we need to settle this questions in next 2-3 weeks, do we get backing of an organization with enough resources to take on any legal challenges posed by new IT rules?
Pirate Praveen Wed 22 Sep 2021 9:15PM
I think we should stop registrations until we decide on these issues.

@Abhinav Krishna C K contact folks at IFF (https://internetfreedom.in/), here's their response:
Hi Abhinav,
Thank you for writing to us and this background. We would be more than happy to schedule a call for next week with you and your team. What time slots before 12 noon will be convenient for you next Wednesday or Thursday? I will also try to pull in Tanmay from our staff for this call. Apar
