New plan for fsci git hosting

Since gitlab debian native packages from fasttrack.debian.net is discontinued and gitlab upstream went full on llm agentic workflow, we are forced to migrate to a new solution.

The agreed solution is ForgeJo. We will choose a new domain for ForgeJo and set it up on a new server in Infomaniak Public Cloud (we got 500 euro credit).

@Badri Sunderarajan I don't prefer docker if something is natively packaged as well, but forgejo is not.

I don't agree just one binary makes it easier, because there are more things than the binary that you need, working email, web proxy, bot detection/spam defense, backups, monitoring etc

If we do custom configuration, then every one has to specifically learn and adapt to it, unlike a standardized and reusable system.

But this is just my opinion, I do use both native packages when available and docker when not available in systems I manage at work.

I am migrating all configurations slowly to ansible. With an undocumented custom setup, it is hard to know what you forget or break when making changes. Using a well documented setup like coop cloud makes things easier to manage.

The people who volunteered and will be maintaining it can make this choice among themselves.

My interest is only to hand over the git service to a new team. You need to figure out among yourselves how you are going to set it up and manage it over time.

Just notify me when we are close to running out of credits, I can then ask Infomaniak for a credit top up.
