Pirate movement - what do you feel about the name?

On hearing the title "pirate movement" the first few words that come into an indian common man's mind will be, pirated cds, evil minded people, violence, robbery etc. They are not that much attached to piratebay or torrents. Even if the aim is to promote freedom of expression, self organisation, free knowledge societies etc, the name does not seem to convey any positive ideology(in Indian context). In my opinion this do require a "re-branding" at-least in terms of a catchy positive tag line.

Wikipedia article explains the pirate name like this,
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pirate_Party#History

The "pirate" label, which had been used by the media and film industries in campaigns against copyright infringement, is therefore a reappropriation of the word.

We'll add this clarification in the constitution once we pass this amendment https://codema.in/d/AHuhjSQs/constitution-amendment-explain-the-pirate-label

Here's one:
"Digital Generosity is still Generosity"

or we could take up a religious quote:

@neelgupta I don't like the tone of generosity, it feels like the person giving is superior. We should think of like peers sharing where the respect is mutual.

Generosity in Knowledge is not just about giving knowledge to others, you also get to take knowledge others too.

In other words, one generous person does not create a generous community.

Knowledge is a right of everyone, you don't need any generosity to take what is rightfully yours.

1) you take Knowledge when someone shares it.
2) you take Knowledge when you buy book, movie, etc.
3) you cultivate Knowledge through meditation.

So how do you take Knowledge that is not given ?
I would rather say "Access to free Knowledge is a universal right."

1) Knowledge is not anyone's private property. People are just carriers of knowledge.
2) these are packaging of knowledge
3) I don't think that is true. Through meditation you focus and it can help you in learning.

All knowledge should be free, and no one should be denied access to any knowledge.
