We can use this thread to collect missing features or regressions compared to mobian bookworm in thread with a goal of finding out the most popular feature request or regression fix. Lets keep the suggestion open for a month (After September 18th, we can create a poll from the suggested features). Once we decide on the top priority items, we can look for developers and place a bounty to encourage people to work on those.

With 6.6.45 kernel from mobian staging and using the charging cable that came with the phone (earlier I was using 67W charger of Xiomi POCO F5), I have not seen any problem for wakeup from suspend so far.

Just wanted to add that those issues you're seeing are L5 specific (so that should be taken into account when considering channeling funds). Other devices don't have suspend or mobile data connection problems. Whether they're affected by lack of sofware echo cancellation also depends on the audio routing.

@Guido So we can make bounties device specific when an issue is specific to a device. Also these are just an initial list to get things moving. I hope more people will submit their priority issues and we will refine things as we go to make it more specific.

One missing feature compared to Android is being able to receive instant messages while in suspend - this works already for SMS since modem can wake up the phone. We need a way to wake up the phone via network and software that manages this (Unified Push). I saw @Guido mentioned Unified Push in FrOsCon slides about upcoming features.

I have been using Mobian Trixie for few days now (I was on bookworm earlier, which is pretty stable). We need some crucial regression fixes in trixie before it can be used as a daily driver. I like the new features in phosh and new gtk 4 interface in chatty.
Librem 5: Echo cancellation should be added to pipewire (worked fine on pulseaudio) and for now I use a wired headphone to work around the issue.
Librem 5: Make sure modem data connection is stable. Currently it breaks after a few minutes and only after a hard reset with kill switch I can use the data. Reproducible on both phosh and plasma mobile.
Librem5: Automatic and manual suspend seems to break (it does not wake up from suspend) after a while (few suspend/resume cycles) and only hard reboot fixes it. This happens only on phosh and plasma mobile seems to work well in this regard. So this is likely a bug in gnome-settings-daemon/phosh. This may be caused by over heating when using a 67W Xiomi POCO F5 charger as well.
