Pilot Voice Call - 31st March 2017

Few members of Indian Pirates held a pilot audio conference on 31st March, 10 - 11 PM IST

Points discussed were:

  • First official Voice conference scheduled to be on 7th April 2017 10PM IST, and to be repeated weekly.
  • Initiatives to increase awareness about Indian Pirates by actively using Social Media
  • Create mechanize like T-Shirt, etc., and to create Indian Pirates Flag
  • Discussed AADHAR's current status, and decided all the members should help in giving awareness to the general public, as well as other political/non political organizations irrespective of whether they would like to associated with India Pirates.
  • Discussed the status on copyright issue in increasing the validity of it.
  • Focus on upcoming 2019 elections and decision to start campaigning early

We used our matrix room and riot app to join the conference. We thought of doing it every week same time.

We want to focus on 2019 elections and start campaigning early. Take issues like Aadhaar to people.

Yesterday we had me, @akhileshjamdar , @bady , Nick, Mujeeb in the call.

  • In the last call we had decided to add more people as diaspora/twitter spokespersons. @jayaura has access already and waiting for gpg key from Akhilesh.
  • Mujeeb had initially agreed to create the pamphlet, since he is busy in the coming days, Akhilesh agreed to review and typeset it.
  • Akhilesh agreed to list shops to print flags, t shirts etc
  • There was a long debate on Aadhaar between Nick and me
  • There were some difficulties to join the call for some people, hopefully things will be better next week.
