looking for more volunteers
Manu, Fayad and myself did most of the heavy lifting for the migration and also for tracking down the recent server downtime. It would be good if we can get more volunteers to help out with technical tasks or we get overloaded with time critical and long term tasks.
Right now, we got to sort out the disk mounting issue.
We also need to setup backup, smaller vm with a mysql replication + rsync for uploads would be enough, I guess.

We should set up uptimerobot.com for getting listed in podupti.me https://poddery.com/posts/2269117

I have added poddery to uptimerobot and sent a request to podupti.me for updating monitor keys. Edit keys will come to the admin email with poduptime.
Can you get in touch with concerned person @praveenarimbrathod. Or we could ask David to change the email in db.

We need someone to setup xmpp conference. I suggest we use groups.poddery.com and strive to make it as close to WhatsApp/Telegram groups on features.

We should try if we can run more pods with same ram usage on the same server. If both pods are using the same path for code and only configurations differ, I think it is possible.
The main advantage would be to have pods on our own domains and it will also solve the issue of pod migration, as we we can just dump the database and move out.

Someone needs to fix the nginx caching settings, it should never expire as the assets names change when contents change. I guess the 24 hour expiry is causing huge load and big lag when server coming back after a down time.
