Fediverse account for Durare.org
Those of us interested in providing more services on durare.org were looking to start a crowdfunding campaign to fund these services.
For this purpose, we were thinking of creating a Fediverse account for Durare.org to aid publicity.
Here are some of the servers we considered, along with the number of servers which block them, thereby affecting our reach.
kolektiva.social |

mstdn.social |

fe.disroot.org |
Akkoma |

We also need to check if there are any server policies which prohibit us from carrying out our crowdfunding campaign.
More server suggestions are welcome.

Didn't you decide to use other domain, megham.something for Fediverse services?
You want to use Durare's fediverse account for only publicity? Wouldn't it be better to use already existing accounts with followers and reach to use for publicity? An account with no followers and activity doing publicity doesn't really help.

@busterkeaton this is similar to what disroot is doing: provide a fediverse instance at https://fe.disroot.org and host the official account at https://nixnet.social/disroot

@perry Yes, makes sense to have an official account on different instance, so that if the vps goes down, then you can still communicate. But, where does durare's fediverse account fit in here? Shouldn't it be megham's fediverse account?

@pun was also proposing something like this if I remember correctly.
