Podmin email list

I don't know about GroupServer. So a doubt. Why Groupserver?? Why not GNU Mailman? We are using that for our public list na?

@balasankarchelamat because there is no web interface or even a good archive interface (no conversations) for mailman. Groupserver can feature compete with Google Groups. We have to move our current mailing lists from dreamhost.

@manukrishnantv or we can wait till next week and create a secret group here itself. Or we can already make a private group.

i am getting a dependency error when i run the install script provided by groupserver....the dependency conflict occurs with python-setuptools. I have tried both packages from stable and testing of debian....but the installer stops...

Also you can also try using the community cloud of eucalyptus for a instance...however the instance last only for 6 hours

@manukrishnantv can you provide test server access to @jinesh ? With Akhil they have already setup groupserver locally. I met them at ILUGB meetup last week in Mumbai.

@manukrishnantv we can sign up one list with private archives on autistici.org or on riseup.net temporarily until we have our own infra. Feel free to create one.
