I have an interesting Software idea for avoiding ISP torrent blocking/throttling/monitoring.
Spooferett is a Torrent client that uses encrypted torrent tunneling within another encrypted private tunnel like SFTP, FTPS, HTTPS, etc.
This way the torrent traffic is disguised from Internet Service Providers as regular secure FTP / HTTP downloads and uploads.
SPOOFs (sends) encrypted torrent packets as sftp, ftps, https, and FERrETs out torrent packets from these streams
Each Spooferett instance runs SFTP/FTPS/HTTPS servers to send encrypted Torrent packets in these tunnels, and the relevant clients to receive torrent packets from the these tunnels.
Linux based client, Cygwin can be used to run on Windows.
Uses Linux server packages (such as Apache for running HTTPS server).
