Participation to improve Scribus

I had used Scribus scripter api for a project.

I found that the project should be maintained better.

Now they are using mantis bug tracker and sourceforge. I feel that it should use gitlab or other preferred tools. Also a better chat platform for threaded discussion prefer zulipchat. And a better and fast loading website.

And conduct hackathons to involve more contributers.

Include methods for Rewarding contributers. Currently irc for Scribus is not active. Things are being managed through mantis only. I urge Fsci to involve in maintaining the Scribus and improving the development methodology. As first step a online can be arranged with the current Scribus mainteners. What do the members say. What actions should be taken further
