I know Akshay from Diaspora Yatra and some other privacy-and-free-software related activities. I believe having him as a permanent member will do good to Indian Pirates.

He has stated his disagreement with the constitution. If he is convinced and accepts the constitution or we are convinsed to change the constitution, we can reconsider his application.

@akshay voting is not required for associate membership. Just stating acceptance to constitution is enough.
