Group Support on Kontalk - Campaign to support/speed up it's development?

I hope everyone knows about the Kontalk app and how it has the potential to become a successful, decentralized and free alternative to Whatsapp/Telegram.

One of the main features missing from Kontalk is the option to create and use groups. There is an issue open for this in the issue tracker. It also has a bounty of $50 which can be found here

Can we associate with other FS communities and do something (financially and morally) to solve this issue?
