If you are yet to install GNU/Linux follow steps given at http://www.wikihow.com/Install-Debian and install Debian 8 Jessie (current stable release)
If you know GNU/Linux graphical interface, learn command line with this course https://www.udemy.com/linux-command-line-volume1/
If you know basics of command line, complete the pre requisites listed here https://codema.in/d/LTpSdMuX/debian-packaging-pre-requisites
Once pre requisites are completed, join #debian-browserify:diasp.in on matrix/riot.
