Fund Phosh on Debian for Mobile - Project friction

T Tristan Public Seen by 5

I've participated in the polls that are open but I don't think I will continue to follow this project. There feels like a lot of overhead involved in getting communication running between individuals. Codema requires an account, Fund Phosh on Debian on Mobile requires a user to authorize your account and read access is the only thing available to those who don't wish to go through the steps. There are several threads that make incorrect assumptions about where progress stands with various issues and to improve the quality of those threads would only further lock valuable information behind more gates. I'd rather put my efforts behind the various Gitlab instances that manage the projects than enhance items here. I wish this project success and will continue to contribute and donate to Mobile Linux projects but I don't think this will be the platform that enables that most successfully.

Thanks for your feedback. This project is not intended to replace any of those gitlab instances. It is only complementary to those - adding an option of bounty to encourage more people to solve an issue. We will have to map threads here to issues in those gitlab instances when we go to the next stage. What this project wants to do is identity some high priority items (we can't do that directly in those gitlab instances), especially from the point of view of a user (those instances are from the point of view of a developer and don't have an option to crowd fund specific issues etc). The idea is to involve users in a different capacity - to be able to pick priority items and them fund some of them.
