Lok Sabha Elections 2019
I think we should contest in next Lok Sabha elections like we did for last Kerala assembly elections. But I want to see how many people would volunteer to campaign.

With 10 agreements and 1 abstain, we can endorse Prakash Raj

We could release a statement on our website supporting his candidature. And then post the statement on Social Media. This would also provide visibility to both his candidacy and to our website.

Endorse Praveen's candidature in Kozhikode, Kerala Closed Wed 20 Mar 2019 10:02AM
We are endorsing Praveen from Kozhikode. Update: Praveen is contesting from Kannur instead of Kozhikode as we have better local support and logistics become easier.
I'm a permanent member of Indian Pirates and I'm planning to contest Lok Sabha elections 2019 from Kozhikode. Since we are not a registered party, I will be contesting as an independent candidate. I also contested last Kerala state assembly elections from Thiruvananthapuram. The main goal is getting to talk to people about Indian Pirates and the ideas we stand for. First goal: Elections are a good time to talk to any random person about politics. Last time we had around 5 people to campaign and we could not talk to more than 500 people and we still got 160 votes. The decision to contest elections itself brought in more people to Indian Pirates. Second goal: Talking to people and debating issues can give more confidence to us, so it is helpful as a learning exercise as well. So I'd like to have a bigger team to campaign this time.

Last time we said in elections in India people can only be involved who live in India or have an Passport from India?
I know people who could help with socialmedia but they do not forfill the above conditions?
Pirate Praveen Wed 13 Mar 2019 2:21PM
For election contributions (money) and campaigning only Indian nationals or Non Resident Indian are allowed. Probably for social media as well.

Would you volunteer some hours for building online campaign? Closed Wed 3 Apr 2019 1:01PM
We need to build an online campaign to reach out to people and talk about our ideas. This could involve recording videos, creating posters, notices, banners etc. You can do it from wherever you are. Since we don't have a lot of money to spend on public relations companies, everyone of us need to pitch in. By doing this, it also help us grow as we get clarification ourselves when trying to convey ideas to people. We will have to find answers to what people ask, so that will lead to more research on different topics.
