Create a Crowd Funding team delegation and include all OpenCollective admins in the delegation. Responsibility is creating and managing fund raising campaigns.

We need a Community team to address any CoC violations. I propose Ceda_ei. @Ravi Dwivedi and I were thinking about contrapunctus, but @muzirian thinks his views regarding other platforms can exclude people. So we need to find one more person. But we don't need to give power to this group, but only recommend action to the board or to moderators (similar to Debian).

@Pirate Praveen Can you tell us briefly how the process works in Debian?

@Ravi Dwivedi this https://wiki.debian.org/Teams/Community/FAQ is a good explanation. Also see the main team page https://wiki.debian.org/Teams/Community

Raise money via https://social.coop/@comradery/114383789736003325 like how we use Open Collective or RazorPay.

Badri and I are planning to submit two grant proposals to FOSS United for two high priority projects. 1. Allow signing up to Prav from any xmpp app 2. Verify new devices from already logged in devices so others can trust new devices with more confidence. Badri will be working on the first and Israel Galadima, who was an Outreachy intern under me for Debian javascript team, on the second. If FOSS United don't give grant, we will go crowd funding.

I think we need to setup spending priorities for general funds. We need to give first priority to hosting and sms charges. Though we need to define how much buffer we need for this. I think we should keep enough funds to cover 3-6 months of running the service at all times. For funds raised for specific projects, we can follow same priority if some funds are left after original goal is achieved or we can set specific policies. For example, we had some money left from PravConf sponsorships, we used that for event bursaries, for future should we continue the same or first see if we have enough funds for hosting and sms.
