So where are you from? - A brief intro about yourself and other pirate members
I was wondering if there were any other members of our group from the place i live in , Chennai.
Also, thought it'd be nice if each of us gave an intro stating where we're from since there is no other way of finding that out here on loomio.
It could also be useful to meet up in person and easier to interact if need be.. in the future or whenever.
Having said that , Im Arjun J . I work in the merchant navy, am 26 and live in Chennai.
Pls do mention how you got to know about Indian pirates- twitter, fb, a friend, etc.

I'm Nilabrata, aka NLBRT. I'm currently just a student and happen tinker around with stuff, mostly software. I also contribute to Open Data through OpenStreetMap for my hometown Jalpaiguri, which is an Epynomous District Capital in West Bengal. Most of my ideas and ideals happens to align with that of the philosophies behind Free and Open-Source Software.
I have a disdain for most of the people who are currently running the State, as well as the Local Self-Governments and hope to change the way it is one day. Easier said than done, but we'll see how it goes!

Welcome, the biggest challenge we have is psychological - how to motivate people and give them hope that change is possible if we try. If all of us just say nothing can be changed and do nothing, then nothing can be changed.

I'm a Free Software developer and a student hailing from Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu. I'm very unhappy with the things are going in our country and it seemed like there was nothing I could do to help bring change. It's nice to know that there are others feel the same way too :)

Hello. I am Ravi from Meerut, Uttar Pradesh. I am a mathematics student and have a masters degree in mathematics. I am a free software supporter and promote it actively. I contribute to free software mostly by writing blog posts, rejecting the use of nonfree software and thereby creating awareness about the free software movement. My political ideologies incline towards defending the basic human rights. Apparently, Indian Pirates' ideology seems to align with mine(or mine seems to be aligned with them 🤔).
