Also we should add pirates.org.in so interested people can find us.

Its easy to lose heart looking at the things happening, but it is important to push forward towards a solution by bringing more people together. While few acts of personal bravery and sacrifice is important, we have to go beyond that and make this a sustainable political platform and movement, that is much harder than going to jail.

@kannanvm how about pirates.org.in on the left half and aadhar logo on the right half below enroll today? It shows people have a choice if they don't want aadhaar. Not a short term choice, but a long term one.

feel free to edit it, i made with the intention that it can be shared by everyone no matter which party they support, also anyone can add their logo and share it too.

Is that really a choice then? How can you say no to Aadhaar when more and more services mandate Aadhaar? The only choice if you don't want Aadhaar is Indian Pirates, right now (hopefully more parties will take this stand people have more choices). So if we don't mention that, its not very useful for the solution. Well, it will surely make people think for a few seconds, but then what are we asking them to do?

@praveenarimbrathod wont it become a bit political if we added Indian pirates?.. People immediately jump to the conclusion that it's a political gimmick.. I feel if we really do start a campaign to spread awareness about Aadhaar we shouldn't include the political part.. Won't be as effective.. Maybe include it later I don't know.. Like someone mentioned prior to our election last year, we haven't really done much for people to recognize us.. Let's do something first then go for the political part..

@arjun there was a correction in the pic, i misspelled aadhaar, its corrected now.

PP

Pirate Praveen Wed 29 Mar 2017 8:06AM

@kannanvm can you share the source format too?

@arjun isn't this issue political? There are already campaigns like https://rethinkaadhaar.in/ if we are afraid to put our name to any campaigns, how would people come to know about our stands? What else would you want to tell people? Petition Modi and beg for privacy?

The only solution I see is for someone to replace the current political parties and scrap Aadhaar? Do you see another solution? Do you see other parties campaigning against Aadhaar? We have scrapping Aadhaar in our manifesto and it is only reasonable for us to ask people to join us as we can't do it alone.

Also i didn't mean that, it was about individuals and other communities, they should have a choice to share without a logo and with thier logo. it about freedom to use as they like it.

also here is the source svg file.

So are you suggesting the same tactics for every campaign we do? Never mention our name on any campaigns.

KVM

Kannan V M Wed 29 Mar 2017 9:36AM

campaigns are different from a poster, cant be shared or resued as a poster, i would say propogation of an idea shouldn't be branded by a logo(personal opinion).

KVM

Kannan V M Wed 29 Mar 2017 9:42AM

means i think campaigns are to be done mentioning the party name, so more can join the party, it will allow people to find people who share similar ideas. but the idea shouldn't be branded, making its propogation difficult.

PP

Pirate Praveen Wed 29 Mar 2017 10:01AM

Isn't a poster part of a campaign?

PP

Pirate Praveen Wed 29 Mar 2017 10:05AM

Also it depends on the end goal as well. For an organization without political goals, simply spreading the idea may be enough. But is it enough in our case? Is it enough that people realize Aadhaar is bad and don't see a solution? Many people already realize Aadhaar is bad, I think our focus should be to bring them to our group, then only we can fix the problem. Spreading the idea that Aadhaar is bad is important too, but there are already campaigns which we can also promote and join.

@Arjun i dont know... aadhaar has become a mind numbing thing.. for the past 4 years for me. with networking effect and mobilization on rise... i did that doc.. to make themself understand about it as logically as possible.

now i see lot more people are following it vigilently on a daily basis... i dont know whether i could give a speech on it... :D
