We would need a nice promotional video ..
Do you guys think we need a youtube channel? or a twitter account? .. i feel a twitter account is a must .. not sure about youtube channel though
Raju Devidas Fri 8 Apr 2016 12:25PM
A Youtube channel will give us a lot of popularity. That is a must have

Do we have any creative people in our group?.. or any common friends who would like to help?
Like a poster or two for our group would be nice.
Also , a nice video ..nothing elaborate .. even 1-2 min videos explaining who we are and what we stand for? ..
get what i mean?

@rajudvindane hmm .. we could keep uploading videos as we campaign .. door to door or whatever it is we do
[deactivated account] Fri 8 Apr 2016 12:27PM
@rajudvindane will you be in Trivandrum? and for how long?
Raju Devidas Fri 8 Apr 2016 12:28PM
@arjun I won't be in Trivandrum. I would be in Pune for my University Exams, whose schedule is conflicting with the election dates.

@rajudvindane okay.. all the best man!

@rajudvindane @praveenarimbrathod so we need 2 things for sure:
1) Update our home page pirates.org.in
2) A youtube channel so we can post videos as we are campaigning.
3) A twitter handle so we can keep updating the public as to what we are upto.
But first , as you said .. lets finish the crowd funding

@michaeljohnsinclai if everyone agrees i'd gladly shift .. i personally am not very fond of loomio - looks outdated and i have to depend on emails for notifications! .. but i think we discuss everything here on loomio so that its out for the public to see ..right?
michael john sinclair. Fri 8 Apr 2016 2:02PM
Loomio is still good for fast discissions
Pirate Praveen Fri 8 Apr 2016 2:57PM
@michaeljohnsinclai we use xmpp for real time chat, should be comparable with slack. piratesin@conference.diasp.in if you are on android, you can use conversations.
Pirate Praveen Fri 8 Apr 2016 3:00PM
@arjun the thing about loomio is sub groups. Those who did not like the idea of contesting elections are not bothered. Plus, its public and using threads, we can organize discussions. It allows you to subscribe as you want, group, sub group or thread.
